Types of Classes  

Pilates Mat Classes

All classes are small in numbers which means there is a high level of supervision and guidance. Verbal support/correction is offered throughout the class. 

Mixed Ability  In the mixed ability classes the moves are layered offering progression and additional challenge, allowing you to choose the level at which you work.   A variety of equipment may be used including stretch bands, rollers, poles and balls

Essential / Gentle Flow Pilates  Ideal if you are new to Pilates or wish to continue to improve your Pilates technique.   A great class if you want to work at a slightly slower pace and maintain flexibility, mobility, strength and balance.  It is also an ideal refresh after a break from class.  

A variety of equipment may be used. 

Private Sessions - in Barnard Castle or Online

Private Sessions are an excellent choice for clients who wish to develop technique or work on specific areas. The 50 minute sessions are tailored to individuals requirements and can be arranged at mutually convenient times in The Pilates Room in Barnard Castle. Private sessions can also be online.

 

Introduction to Pilates - I advise new clients to join me for an Introductory 1:1 sessions.  The session last 50 minutes. We introduce the principals and benefits of Pilates, We look at how your body moves, taking you through the beginner exercises so you have a sound understanding before joining a group session. Private sessions can also be online. 

Pilates Workshops & Retreats - currently suspended
Due to COVID 19 and Government guidance, 2020 half day and full day workshops & retreats (accommodation available if required) have all been postponed, along with dates for some long weekend retreats!
